Terms and FAQs






WAIT TIME
The wait list is an estimate of how long you will wait for your design. While it is usually fairly accurate, it could vary by a week or two. The turnaround time for a custom design is typically 1-2 weeks.

PAYMENT
Payments should be submitted via Paypal. By submitting your deposit, you are agreeing to these terms.
Please let me know if the name on your paypal account is different from the one on your order form.

REFUNDS

Due to the nature of this business, I will not issue refunds under any circumstances.


COPYRIGHT

By purchasing a pre-made or custom design, the client is given the right to display a design by Danielle Moss but does not have rights to edit or alter the design in any way. You may add/edit any gadgets or posts on your blog but may not share, alter, or copy any part of a layout, template, or blog design. Each client must adhere to U.S. Copyright Law. Failure to do so could result in legal action.

DESIGN CREDIT
Credit will be placed on your site linking back to Danielle Moss as the designers of your template.
The link must remain on your blog as long as you have elements designed by me.

COMMUNICATION
All communication is conducted via email. Please be sure to check your email throughout this process. Once I have contacted you to proceed with your design if I do not hear from you for a period of one business week without notice, your name will be moved down on the wait list so that I can proceed with my other clients. If I do not hear from a client for two weeks without notice the project will be dropped and no funds paid will be returned.

WAIT LIST
If you would like your name added to the wait list, you should submit a non refundable $75 deposit for a custom design or $150 for a blog site. Once I am ready to proceed with your design I will contact you.


REVISIONS
After your blog has been installed you will have the opportunity to ask for one round of revisions with no charge. Please note any changes you would like made to the layout and any necessary adjustments will be made. Any excess revisions will be billed at $95 per hour. DIGITAL FILES
Most blog designs use digital scrapbook kits or digital images purchased from istockphoto. As per the Terms of Use on any digital scrapbook site, I cannot share these files with you and they will only be used for your blog. I will invoice you for the cost of the kit and will then purchase the files and pay for any commercial fees.If you would like a scrapbook style blog, I will send you a list with the designers that I work with.


DO YOU WORK WITH WORDPRESS?
I currently offer designs for blogs hosted on the Blogger platform.

HOW LONG IS YOUR WAIT LIST?
My wait list varies from week to week. Please click the wait list button at the top of the page to see the current wait time.

HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?
After reading my terms of design and FAQs, please make your non refundable $40 deposit via paypal by clicking on "payment" at the top of the page. I ask that you submit your order form within one week after submitting a deposit. When I am ready to proceed I will contact you and at that time you should pay the remaining balance.

WILL THERE BE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?
The cost for any files needed for your makeover are not included in your makeover fee. Most graphic style blogs use images from istockphoto.com. Istock images sell for $1.50 per credit. If you would like a graphic style makeover, please send links to any images that you are interested in. For a scrapbook style blog, you will need a digital scrapbook kit. This kit will have papers, elements (ribbon, flowers, frames etc...) that I will use to design your header and set up your blog. Prices for digital kits usually range from $5-$8.Some have additional blog use fees that range from $5-$25.
 
CAN I ADD GADGETS TO MY SIDEBAR AFTER MY DESIGN HAS BEEN INSTALLED?
Yes. You can add anything you like. You just cannot edit the template, banner or any elements that I design. 

WHEN MY NEW DESIGN IS INSTALLED, WILL I LOSE MY BLOG POSTS?
No, you will not lose your posts or any gadgets that you currently have on your blog. Only the look of your blog will change. You will be able to post as usual, add photos, and can add links and new categories to the sidebar.

WHAT ARE MY FONT OPTIONS FOR MY BLOG POSTS + TITLES?
 Century gothic, courier new, helvetica, times, georgia or arial are the ones I use most often.

CAN I CHANGE THE PHOTOS IN MY BANNER?
You will not be able to change them yourself, but I can change them for you. There is a $10 fee to switch out photos and a $15 fee to install any a la carte items after a design is complete. Depending on the number of photos. I will not hand out any layered Photoshop files, even if you know how to change them yourself, as that would violate my Terms of Use.

WILL YOU NEED MY BLOGGER LOGIN INFORMATION?
Yes, I will need your login information to access your blog. It is easy to temporarily change your password so I will be able to access your blog. You may simply change it back once I have finished. Rest assured that I delete all personal information once I complete a blog makeover.
